This skill provides a systematic approach to editing marketing copy through multiple focused passes.

What this skill does

  1. 1Runs seven sequential editing passes covering clarity, voice consistency, benefit framing, proof, specificity, emotional resonance, and friction near CTAs.
  2. 2Flags unsubstantiated superlatives ('best,' 'leading') and requests supporting evidence or softer alternatives.
  3. 3Replaces weak filler words and passive constructions with concrete, active language using a plain-English substitution list.
  4. 4Delivers findings sweep-by-sweep with before/after examples and conversion-impact rationale for each change.
  5. 5Produces a final clean copy version with a summary of all changes made.

When to use

  • A landing page or email draft is written and needs a systematic quality pass before publishing.
  • Features outnumber benefits two-to-one and the copy is not converting.
  • Tone shifts inconsistently across a page and brand voice feels off.
